45 Happy and inspired pilgrims returned from
an outstanding visit to the Holy Land just
before Easter, 2011. There were visits to
Nazareth on the Feast of the Annunciation
itself (where Mass was celebrated on the
spot of "In Verbum caro, factum est"),
Jerusalem, the site of the Sepulcher, Garden
of Olives and the Western Wall; Bethlehem
the birthplace of Jesus and Galilee where he
performed 65% of all his miracles.
Itai, our guide, showed us everything,
including the Dead Sea and Masada. After 8
days, some of the pilgrims returned home.
Others continued on for three more days to
visit the incredible treasures in Jordan,
including the Jordan River site of Jesus'
baptism by John.
Stay tuned. We might just go again if anyone
is interested. |
