Imagine waking up one morning at age 16 and finding out within hours that you are paralyzed from the waist down! How does one deal with that as an adult, let alone as a teenager? That is what happened to Alana Marie Spence about five years ago. She was supposed to go to a Rolling Stones concert that night. That fateful day turned her own life into a "rolling stone' that seemed out of control.

Fr. Mike speaks with Alana about the consequences for her life since that tragic day. She explains the pain, the loneliness and isolation, and the shame. She went from hospital to hospital always experiencing the total support of loving parents. Then one day someone visited her and her perspective began to change.
